Your new role:

You will manage a portfolio of claim files within the Settlements Claims department, providing direct support to third parties. This role focuses on delivering cost-effective and high-quality claims outcomes by building strong relationships with team members and both internal and external service providers.


Position Accountability's

  • End-to-end management of a portfolio of third party direct liability files with efficiency's in accuracy and productivity.
  • Clear decision making to achieve best cost and service outcomes.
  • Clear and advanced understanding of liability, negligence, and road rules.
  • Helping third parties into our network of repairers for the best claims outcome and experience.
  • Supporting third parties through their claims journey through clear communication and customer service.
  • Manage relationships, cost and timeliness with our network of repairers, suppliers, internal and external stakeholders.
  • To follow settlement methodology ensuring company procedures and relevant legislation is adhered to.
  • Application of Insurance Contracts Act, General Insurance Code of Practice and other regulatory and compliance obligations.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Motor Claims, or related fields will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, with effective multitasking skills.
  • Capacity to impact results and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly professional and well-organised, providing proactive claims management that minimises claim cost. outcomes for the business.
  • Passion and drive to deliver the best claims journey and outcome for our third parties.
  • Confident decision making and adaptability.
  • Strong customer service skills for effective written and verbal communications.
  • High importance on accuracy and compliance with business process and compliance and regulatory obligations.
